Kenneth Bulmer (1921–2005) was a prolific British science fiction and fantasy author, known for writing over 160 novels and numerous short stories. He often used pseudonyms, such as Alan Burt Akers for his Dray Prescot series, a collection of planetary romance novels. Bulmer’s works were widely translated, gaining particular popularity in Germany. Beyond novels, he contributed to British comics and edited the New Writings in Science Fiction anthology series. His imaginative storytelling and diverse genres left a lasting impact on speculative fiction.
