Thomas Harlan (1929–2010) was a German writer, filmmaker, and political activist known for confronting Germany’s Nazi past. The son of controversial director Veit Harlan, Thomas distanced himself from his father’s legacy by researching Nazi war crimes in Poland, contributing to thousands of criminal investigations.
